What Every Aspiring Photographer Should Know--------------------------------------------------------------------------------
I decided it was time to purchase a new lens now with all these fancy DX lens; the difference it truly quite amazing. The VR technology is also impressive.
I originally set out to Wolf Camera to find either the Nikkor DX VR 18-200 or Nikkor DX VR 18-55. After not being impressed with the quite expensive 18 - 200 I decided to try an AF-S Micro(Macro)-NIKKOR 60mm f/2.8G ED and loved it. I'm wondering what the heck I've been doing this whole time non-Macro lens.
Its right up my alley.
Its not DX nor VR, but the quality is there. ED glass is wonderful. I have 10 days to play with it and figure out if its going to do what I want. So far its fun and feels good. The problem is focusing. I don't realize how much I move back an forth until this lens. I do see there is a AF-S VR Micro-NIKKOR 105mm f/2.8G IF-ED. Expensive though...
